Saturday, Sept. 16th our youth had the unique opportunity to tour Union Terminal. The youth had a great time at their behind-the-scenes tour, coordinated by one of our amazing board members, Mr. Michael Kelly.

We soaked up inspiration and the history behind Cincinnati’s Union Terminal. A little history lesson, Union Terminal was a significant development in the history of Cincinnati transportation. As one of the last great train stations built, Union Terminal is a Cincinnati icon and an excellent example of the Art Deco style. It was completed on March 31, 1933, and is now undergoing a major restoration. We learned this requires a lot of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and history in order for modern construction and engineering techniques to blend with early 20th century materials and design to save iconic Union Terminal.

This museum is going to be spectacular once construction is completed, we were beyond excited to see it’s progress. Thank you to our guests who came and supported the youth today! You are awesome!
